Our story begins with Yuhan Benjamin's lifelong passion for music and his desire to share his talents with the world. Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Yuhan was exposed to a diverse array of musical traditions from a young age, including Middle Eastern, European, and Asian influences. He went on to study music at the renowned Tashkent Conservatory and toured extensively throughout the Southeastern Soviet Republics, honing his skills and developing his unique style.

In 1991, Yuhan arrived in New York and began establishing a large following by touring with an incredible, hand-picked band of diverse and avid musicians. Their live shows have been warmly welcomed by audiences in Germany, France, England, India, Israel, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, and all across the US, as well as back in Uzbekistan.

Building on this success, Yuhan founded Radio Yuhan as a way to bring his music and cultural insights to an even wider audience. Today, Radio Yuhan is a thriving platform that features a diverse array of music, interviews with prominent figures, and thoughtful commentary on issues of cultural significance.
